After a pandemic break, the world's largest conference on the green alga Chlamydomonas finally returned at the beginning of June. Scientists working with Anja Hemschemeier from the Photobiotechnology group also traveled to the USA to present their latest research results on hemoglobins, starch metabolism and ene reductases from and in Chlamydomomas.
